Transmission Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the 2 bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission.
3. Remove the transmission heat shield from the transmission.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission heat shield to the transmission.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the 2 bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission and tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb ft).
3. Lower the vehicle.
