Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LS4) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side)Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LZE/LZ4/LZ8) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side).
3. Remove the upper engine mount nuts.
4. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture).
5. Using the engine support fixture, raise the engine.




6. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts.
7. Remove the engine mount bracket.
8. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).




9. Remove the lower engine mount nuts.
10. Remove the engine mount.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine mount.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the lower engine mount nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.




4. Install the engine mount bracket.
5. Install the engine mount bracket bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).




6. Using the engine support fixture, lower the engine.
7. Remove the engine support fixture.
8. Install the upper engine mount nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

9. Install the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LS4) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side)Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LZE/LZ4/LZ8) (Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side).
10. Install the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
