Transmission Brace Replacement - Right

Transmission Brace Replacement (RPOs LZ9-3.9L/LZE-3.5L Flex Fuel)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the transmission brace bolts (2).
3. Remove the transmission brace (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission brace (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the transmission brace bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).




3. Install the right engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair).
