Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the third row folding seat if equipped. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) or Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL) .
  3. Remove the rear opening garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. Remove the back rear corner upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side .
  5. Remove the rear side door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Standard Wheelbase)  or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) .
  6. Remove the body side lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)  or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Extended Wheelbase)  or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) .

Tip: 
  1. Align the 4-way locator to the body side inner and then the 2-way locator to the body back opening.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
