Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Left) or Engine Splash Shield Replacement (Right) .
  4. Support the transaxle.

  5. Remove the transaxle bracket to transaxle mount upper nuts.

  6. Remove the bolts which secure the transaxle bracket to the transaxle.
  7. Remove the transaxle bracket.
