Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LE5, L61) (Service and Repair)Catalytic Converter Replacement (LNF) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LE5, L61) (Service and Repair)Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LNF) (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe bolts (1) and pipe.
4. Remove and discard the turbocharger oil feed pipe gaskets.

Installation Procedure




1. Install NEW gaskets onto the turbocharger oil feed pipe fittings.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe and bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

3. Install the thermostat housing. Refer to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LE5, L61) (Service and Repair)Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement (LNF) (Service and Repair).
