Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the catalytic converters. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (7.0L) and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (7.0L) .
  3. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.

  4. Remove the backup lamp switch.
