Assembly Procedure

Using J 36190: universal driver handle (1) and J 39439-3: bushing installer (2), install the extension housing bearing.

Snap the oil funnel into the NEW extension housing countershaft bearing.
Using J 36190: universal driver handle (1) and DT 48802: bearing installer (2), install the NEW extension housing countershaft bearing.

Install the mainshaft bearing race, using the J 39546: race installer (1) and the J 8092: drive handle (2).

Install the output shaft inner and outer seals using the J 21426: seal installer.

Apply sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the transmission case drain plug.
