Preliminary Procedures
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner on the left side of the vehicle. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Front Liner)
or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Rear Liner)
.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors for the washer pump, level sensor switch and headlamp washer pump (if applicable).
- Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
- Disconnect the washer pump hose and headlamp washer pump hose (if applicable).
- Open the hood.
- Remove the washer container filler neck push in retainer.
- Remove the washer container cap and transfer to the new container.
- Lower the washer container from behind the left front fender.

Tighten:
12 N.m (106 lb in)

Windshield Washer Solvent Container
Procedure:
Transfer the washer pumps, level sensor indicator, and the cap to the new washer solvent container. |
