Determining Adjusting Disc E (PE)

Install the DT 46478 (1). See Special Tools .
Using the disc thickness gage, determine thickness MB for the disc set for clutch E, without adjusting the disc, which is located in the lowest plate.
Calculate the test dimension PE - PE = EE - ME.
EE = installation space

MB = disc set thickness

EXAMPLE

EE = 23.29 mm (0.917 in)

ME = 16.70 mm (0.657 in)

PE = 6.59 mm (0.260 in)
Find the disc set thickness. Refer to Transmission General Specifications .
PE is 6.59 mm (0.260 in), so the disc set thickness is 5.0 mm (0.20 in).
Replace clutch B setting disc 5.0 mm (0.20 in).
