Brake C/D Assemble: Assemble

    CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .
  1. Install disc set D.

  2. Using DT 46484  (1) press down on the cup spring and install the snap ring. See Special Tools .
  3. Rotate disc carrier 180 degrees.

  4. Install disc set C.
    1. The transaxle has 2 lined clutch discs and 1 steel clutch disc. Install the lined discs so that the lining faces the steel disc.
    2. Insert the fitting keys into the appropriate grooves.

  5. Install the snap ring to brake C.

  6. Install piston C to cylinder C.

  7. Install the cylinder with piston C.

  8. Install the disc carrier C/D and the spring disc to the transaxle housing.

  9. Install piston C and the cylinder.

  10. Install the snap ring to the transaxle housing.
