Preliminary Procedures Remove the seat belt buckles. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Impala without AM9) or Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Impala with AM9) . Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Impala) .
1	Rear Seat Back Cushion Bolts (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Back Cushion Nut Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3	Rear Seat Back Cushion Tip: Lift upward to clear the retaining hooks on the seat back to remove. The removal and installation for the standard and the split bench seat are the same.
