Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the applicable camshaft(s). Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Valve Rocker Arms

  2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Removal - Left .
  3. Clean and inspect the camshaft(s) and the rocker arm(s). Repair or replace as necessary. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection and Valve Lifters Cleaning and Inspection .
