Heater Coolant Heater Glow Plug Replacement

Tools Required

J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the heater coolant heater.
2. Remove the heater coolant heater control unit.






Important: Note the routing of the wiring to ensure proper installation.

3. Using J-38125-560 remove the glow plug wiring from the electrical connector.
4. Remove the glow plug from the heater coolant heater.

Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice.

1. Install the glow plug to the heater coolant heater.

Tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

2. Install the glow wiring to the electrical connector.
3. Install the heater coolant heater control unit.
4. Install the heater coolant heater.
5. Lower the vehicle.
