The following fault table will help determine if a hydraulic circuit or an incorrect position of a valve train component affects the transmission operation.

Lower Control Valve Body Assembly	Clutch select valve 3 stuck OFF - debris, sediment, binding or scored bore	P2723

Fluid Pump Cover Assembly	Fluid pump cover pump damage or debris between torque converter housing causing pump slide damage Fluid pump cover vanes and fluid pump rotor broken	P2723
