Inspect the manual transaxle fluid every 48 000 km (30,000 mi). The manual transaxle fluid does not require changing.

Inspect the automatic transaxle fluid every 24 000 km (15,000 mi). If the vehicle is operated under any of the following conditions, change the automatic transaxle fluid every 60 000 km (37,500 mi):

In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly exceeds 32°C (90°F)
In hilly or mountainous terrain
In taxi, police, or delivery service
