Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper and the lower instrument trim panels.

  4. Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.
  5. Lower the steering column. Remove the steering column from the intermediate shaft in order to allow removal of the steering wheel rotation sensor. Refer to Steering Column Replacement .

  7. Remove the retaining screw from the steering wheel rotation sensor.
  8. Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor.
