Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Remove the liftgate lower garnish molding.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Remove the screws and the liftgate lock.
  6. Disconnect the lock rod and electrical connector.
