Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Insert a pry bar between the engine and the cradle, and raise the engine slightly until a socket with an extension can be installed onto the drive belt tensioner bolt.




3. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
4. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the drive belt tensioner.
2. Insert a pry bar between the engine and the cradle, and raise the engine slightly until the drive belt tensioner bolt can be installed.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

4. Install the drive belt.
