Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the hood.
  2. Mark the hood latch location to the support bracket with a grease pencil.

  3. Remove the hood latch bolts.
    4. Fig 2: View Of Hood Release Cable

  4. Disconnect the release cable from the hood latch by squeezing the cable retainer.
  5. Remove the hood latch from the vehicle.
