Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the CKP sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Fig 1: View Of CKP Sensor & Bolt

  3. Install the CKP sensor retaining fastener.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fastener to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.

  7. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10. Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
