Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying engine wiring harness electrical connector

    IMPORTANT: Note wire routing prior to removal.
  3. Disconnect the turbocharger vane position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor connector from the bracket on the LH valve cover.

  6. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor thermal reflective shield/tape.
  7. Remove the turbocharger vane position sensor from the turbocharger.
