Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Connect the fuel feed pipe fitting to the left fuel rail.
Tighten: Tighten the fittings to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
Connect the fuel feed pipe fittings to the fuel injector pump.
Tighten: Tighten the fittings to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
If equipped, install the auxiliary generator. Refer to Auxiliary Generator Replacement .
Install the A/C compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement (6.6L) .
Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
Start the engine.
If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.
Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
