Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the fuel pressure relief valve to the left fuel rail.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel pressure relief valve to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).

  2. Install the glow plug module and bracket. Refer to Glow Plug Control Module Replacement .
  3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  4. Start the engine.

    If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

  5. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
