Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Apply sealant to the threads of the oil pressure sensor. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants for the correct part number.
  2. Using J 41712  or equivalent, install the oil pressure sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pressure sensor to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

  4. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
