Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the engine mount to the engine mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine mount to engine mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Lower the engine.

  4. Install the engine mount to the frame mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine mount to frame mounting bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  5. Install the right side exhaust manifold. Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L) .
  6. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L) .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
