Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the transmission mount mounting bolts, for 4WD vehicles.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the transmission mount mounting bolts, for RWD vehicles.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the transmission support crossmember. Refer to Transmission Support Crossmember Replacement .
  5. Remove the transmission jack.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
