Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the engine oil pressure gage sensor fitting, if removed.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the engine oil pressure gage sensor fitting to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
    2. IMPORTANT: Do not loosen the sensor fitting. Do not tighten the sensor fitting more than one turn to align.
    3. Tighten the sensor fitting until properly align.

  3. Install the engine oil pressure gage sensor.
  4. Hold the engine oil pressure gage sensor fitting with a wrench to prevent from turning.

    Tighten:  Using J 41712  tighten the engine oil pressure gage sensor to 30 N. See Special Tools .m (22 lb ft).

  5. Connect the engine oil pressure gage sensor electrical connector.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
