Installation Procedure

  1. Install the belt idler pulley and bolt to the power steering pump mounting bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the idler pulley bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  2. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L) .
