Circuit/System Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn OFF the ignition and disconnect the water in fuel sensor.
  2. Turn ON the ignition and observe the Water in Fuel Sensor parameter with a scan tool.
    • If the voltage reads more than 4.75 volts, test for a short to voltage.
    • If the voltage reads less than 4.75 volts, refer to Water-in-Fuel Lamp Inoperative .
