Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to VEHICLE LIFTING CAUTION .
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying O2 Sensor & Related Components

    NOTE: Refer to HEATED OXYGEN AND OXYGEN SENSOR NOTICE .
  2. Disconnect the connector (1) for the HO2S.
    3. NOTE: Refer to EXCESSIVE FORCE AND OXYGEN SENSOR NOTICE .
  3. Remove the HO2S (2) using a J 39194-B  . See Special Tools .
