Preliminary Procedures Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac N Fill) . Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
1	EGR Coolant Pipe Tip: Compress the clamps (1) and disconnect the EGR coolant pipe from the EGR cooler tube.
