CAUTION: When a lift gate hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
1	Rear Applique Screws (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in) Tip: Position the center screw to the applique first, followed by the hinge nuts second. Install the outer screws last and torque the screws in the same sequence.
2	Rear Applique Nuts (Qty: 2) Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in) Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector.
