Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
IMPORTANT: Clean all the evaporative emission (EVAP) line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.
  1. Remove the EVAP canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Replacement (Pickup)  or Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Replacement (Cab/Chassis) .
  2. Remove the EVAP canister line (1). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  3. Remove the EVAP canister purge line (2). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Cap the fuel and EVAP lines in order to prevent possible fuel/EVAP system contamination.
