2/4 Wheel Drive Synchronizer Gear

Inspect the 2/4 wheel drive synchronizer gear for chipped or worn engagement teeth.
Inspect the 2/4 wheel drive synchronizer gear journal surface for the following conditions:
- Gouging
- Roughness
- Excessive wear
Replace the 2/4 wheel drive synchronizer gear if faulty.
