Preliminary Procedures Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement . Remove the upper fan shroud bolts. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement . Remove the upper radiator bolts. Refer to Radiator Replacement (4.3, 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L) or Radiator Replacement (LLM) . Remove the upper condenser bolts. Refer to Condenser Replacement .
1	Upper Tie Bar Bolts (Qty: 6) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Upper Tie Bar Brace Bolts (Qty: 2) Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
