Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 Q8 control solenoid assembly harness connector at the transmission.
- Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ignition voltage circuits listed below and ground.
- Terminal 4
- Terminal 12
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition circuit for a Short to Ground or an Open/High Resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the Q8 control solenoid valve assembly.
