A condition may result in a stored history DTC C0900 with a Service StabiliTrak and Trac Off Message. This DTC can set if the engine is immediately free revved at half throttle or more, after a cold start, or after immediate cold engine drive off not allowing the engine to warm up after the Wait to Start lamp goes off. The DTC may be stored in history due to a sudden spike in the charging system that exceed 16 V causing the EBCM to store the DTC and display the messages, and no repairs are necessary. Please refer the customer to the operating and starting of a diesel engine in the Owner's Manual under Features and Controls "Starting the Diesel Engine" for DURAMAX ® Diesel Engine.
