Shift Valve Body Assemble

  1. Install the solenoid screen (1).

    Solenoid screen installed depth:  Ensure the solenoid screen (1) is installed to a depth of 0.50-1.00 mm (0.20-0.039 in) below the shift valve body surface, as shown in the insert, dimension A.

  3. Install control main valve (1) and spring (2).

  5. Using J 43773  (2), compress the valve spring. See Special Tools .
  6. Install retaining clip (1). Ensure the retaining clip (1) is below the valve body surface.

  8. Install shift valve 2 (1), spring (2), and plug (3).

  10. Using J 43773  (2), compress the valve spring. See Special Tools .
  11. Install retaining clip (1). Ensure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.

  13. Install shift valve 3 (1), spring (2), and plug (3).

  15. Using J 43773  (2), compress the valve spring. See Special Tools .
  16. Install retaining clip (1). Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.

  18. Install shift valve 1 (1), spring (2), and plug.

  20. Using J 43773  (2), compress the valve spring. See Special Tools .
  21. Install retaining clip (1). Ensure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.
