Installation Procedure

Install the drive belt idler pulley and bolt to the generator bracket.

Snug the bolt finger tight.
Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines) or Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (5.3L Engine w/RPO HP2) .
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
