Transmission Intermediate Case Assemble

Tools Required

• J 8092  Universal Driver
• J 25070  Heat Gun - 500-750 F
• J 44741  Shift Rail Bearing Installer. See Special Tools .
• J 44745  Countershaft Bearing Race Installer. See Special Tools .
• J 44746  Mainshaft/Input Shaft Bearing Race Installer. See Special Tools .

1. Using the J 25070  , heat the intermediate case for 10-15 minutes.
2. Install the countershaft bearing race in the intermediate case using the J 8092  (1) and the J 44745  (2). See Special Tools .

3. Install the mainshaft intermediate bearing race in the intermediate case using the J 8092  (1) and the J 44746  (2). See Special Tools .

4. Install the shift rail bearing in the intermediate case using the J 8092  (1) and the J 44741  (2). See Special Tools .
