J 36513 Gear and Bearing Separator Plate
- Only remove the bearings if replacing the bearings. Do not use the bearings again after removal.
- You must also replace the race for the bearing being replaced.
- Inspect the bearing for damage or wear. Refer to Bearings and Spacers Cleaning and Inspection .
- Using a hydraulic press and the J 36513 (1), remove the input shaft bearing.
- Remove the input shaft oil deflector using a suitable prying tool.
- Discard the input shaft oil deflector after removal.
