J 22912-01  Split Plate Bearing Puller

1. Install the J 22912-01  (1) under the input shaft bearing.

2. Remove input shaft bearing cone using the J 22912-01  (1) and a hydraulic press.
IMPORTANT:
• The input shaft bearing race is not serviceable. If the race is faulty, replace the input shaft bearing retainer.
• Replace both the input shaft bearing and the input shaft bearing retainer, if either is faulty.

3. Remove the seal from the input shaft bearing retainer.
4. Discard the seal.
