Oil Pan Installation - Lower

Apply a 2-3 mm wide by 0.5-1.5 mm high bead of GM P/N 12378521 (Canadian P/N 88901148) sealant to the lower oil pan mating surface.

Install the lower oil pan.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the lower oil pan bolts and nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the lower oil pan bolts and nuts in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the oil level sensor.
