Fuel Injection Pump Installation

Lubricate the O-ring on the fuel injection pump adapter with engine oil.

Use a suitable tool to unload the spring tension from the two piece cam gear. Apply pressure towards the right side of the engine while installing the fuel injection pump.

Install the fuel injection pump and adapter assembly.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the fuel injection pump bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the fuel injection pump bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
