Conditions for Setting the DTC: P2723: Notes

The TCM detects an incorrect on-coming clutch gear ratio, or flare, when the 1-2-3-4 clutch is commanded ON for 0.5 seconds and either fail case below is achieved:

Fail Case 1

Output shaft speed is greater than 60 RPM.
The transmission input shaft speed is greater than 75 RPM from the anticipated input shaft speed.

Fail Case 2

Output shaft speed is less than 60 RPM.
The transmission input shaft speed is greater than 75 RPM from the anticipated input shaft speed.
