Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the side front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the door lock.
  4. Remove the wiring harness retainers (2) from the door.
  5. Remove the rivets (3), that retain the electrical contacts to the door, using an appropriate drill and drill bit.
  6. Remove the wiring harness from the side door.
