Removal Procedure

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling .
  3. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side in Interior Trim .
  4. Remove the left rear corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Corner in Interior Trim .
  5. Remove the air distribution duct upper. Refer to Air Distribution Duct Replacement - Upper Auxiliary .
  6. Remove the air distribution duct lower. Refer to Air Distribution Duct Replacement - Lower Auxiliary .
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the auxiliary HVAC module (1).

  8. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  9. Remove the cover from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
  10. Remove the one retaining nut in order to remove the auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube assembly from the core.
  11. Disconnect the heater lines from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
  12. Remove the retaining nuts from the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
  13. Lower the vehicle.
  14. Remove the auxiliary HVAC module.
