1-2-3-4 Clutch Fiber Plate Inspection

- Measure as described below at a minimum of 3 locations.
- Replace any 1-2-3-4 clutch fiber plate that does not meet specifications.
- Measure the thickness of each 1-2-3-4 clutch fiber plate (1) at dimension A.
Specification: The 1-2-3-4 clutch friction plate minimum thickness is 2.375 mm (0.093 in).
- Measure the oil groove depth of each plate at dimension B.
Specification: The oil groove minimum depth is 0.200 mm (0.0079 in).
- Measure the cone of each plate (1) at dimension A.
Friction Plate Cone: The fiber plate maximum cone is 0.255 mm (0.010 in).
