Clutch Pilot Bearing Installation

  1. Position the bearing to the rear of the crankshaft.
  2. Assemble the J 8433:  two jaw puller (2), the J 45949:  pilot bearing and flywheel locator installer (1) and bolts to the rear of the crankshaft.

    Tighten the bolts until snug.

  3. Rotate the bolt of the J 8433:  two jaw puller (2) until the bearing is seated in the bore of the crankshaft.
  4. Remove the tools.

  6. Inspect the clutch pilot bearing for proper installation.
